الطبيب النفسي: هو طبيب قادر على تشخيص الحالة وعلاجها بالأدوية والطرق العلاجية الأخرى. المعالج النفسي: هو شخص يحمل شهادات في علم النفس أو مجالات ذات صلة، متمرس في العلاج النفسي دون وصف الأدوية.
